Digital Self-Care

This initiative seeks to make available to people the technologies and information necessary to follow self-care actions in the context of the Covid 19 pandemic.

Description

About the initiative

Digital Self-Care will allow its users to know the risk of exposure and contagion from their contact book to make informed decisions and prevent risk behaviors according to their local reality. The data collected by the application will ONLY be stored on the device, protecting your identity, privacy and autonomy. This digital innovation seeks to facilitate the self-care of its users and their communities through information and collaboration.

To use this application you do not need to provide sensitive information to register, just your email and phone number. The information will only be shared with your network of contacts through informed consent, safeguarding the privacy and security of data and information under strict cybersecurity standards.

How does it work? Each user will answer a form of 6 simple questions that will allow them to know and notify the closest community about their state of health and their self-care behaviours. The application will deliver a result represented by the colours of a traffic light, being green, low risk of contagion, orange, medium risk of contagion, and red, high risk of contagion.

The application is not a diagnostic method, it is an input of information based on personal behaviour and scientific evidence to make informed decisions and protect your health and that of your community.

The best strategy to face this pandemic is self-care. Let’s make technologies available to people.
